In transit...

Today is a travel day, as the band jets off to the elderly confines of Victoria, B.C. Here's hoping they face a large and unruly crowd, tonight. One made up of members of the Queen's city's sub-senior crowd. Not that the oldsters can't be fun. Just ask Tommy.

Last time we hit the left coast, there was one particularly aggressive hanger-on, who pursued the band for hours before (and during) the show. Flashing her rack at any opportunity. Harassing the younger, more attractive, though likely less-experienced female members of the audience. After the show, she somehow made her way backstage and was all but throwing herself at every guy in the band. Finally, Gunns stepped up and took one for the team. Or rather gave one for the team. Afterwards, much fun was directed his way, although underlying the ribbing was genuine gratitude. And from what I understand, this mega-cougar may have even taught the already well-versed Gunns a new trick or two. So, everybody won.

It remains to be seen if this trip will provide similar results. And who was that old chick, anyway?

Vaya con dios...
